Lynn Bowden’s tweet to John Calipari earlier today has everyone buzzing about the possibility of him joining the basketball practice squad. While the odds of that actually happening are slim (Bowden has a future career in the NFL to consider, after all), Mark Stoops told reporters tonight he’d be open to loaning his star player to John Calipari…once the season is over, of course.
“Give me a few more weeks here,” Stoops laughed. “Then we can loan him out for a few weeks then come back for the bowl but there’s probably no doubt.
