The Kentucky Wildcats kicked off exhibition play with a 94-66 win over Transy on Friday night. The Wildcats had six players in double figures, led by Reid Travis with 12 points and 10 rebounds, the first of many double-doubles for him this season.
While the Wildcats only won by 28 and never really seemed to put the game away, there were many bright spots throughout. I never try to put too much stock into exhibition games, especially considering this same team destroyed four professional teams in the Bahamas back in August.
