Skal Labissiere has still not been cleared by the NCAA. And because Kentucky basketball fans live for everything Kentucky basketball, everyone panicked. It’s natural around here.
But don’t read too much into Goodman’s report. Goodman’s gonna Goodman. There are players all over the country who haven’t been cleared by the NCAA. It happens every year and Labissiere just happens to be one of those guys. UK is completely confident he will be eligible and they are proceeding on with that mindset. Labissiere is in team photos, he is practicing with the team, and all expectations are he will be a member of the 2015-16 Wildcats when the ball is tipped this season.
