Shortstop Erin Coffel was named the sixth NFCA All-American in University of Kentucky softball history earlier today.
Coffel was placed on the second team by the NFCA’s All-America Committee.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Softball shortstop Erin Coffel was named the sixth National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association All-American in program history Wednesday afternoon, as she was placed on the second team by the NFCA’s All-America Committee.
She becomes the sixth different UK player to be named an All-American, and the third shortstop coached by Rachel Lawson, joining Molly Belcher and Katie Reed.
