Kentucky ended the 2019-20 regular season in the most miraculous manner possible. Days after blowing a double-digit lead, Kentucky overcame an 18-point deficit to defeat Florida in Gainesville 71-70.
Ashton Hagans did not play. Immanuel Quickley fouled out with nine minutes to play. Tyrese Maxey missed his first eight shots. Kentucky still won the basketball game.
The Florida lead grew to as much as 18 in the second half before the Cats mounted a comeback. A 7-0 Kentucky run cut the deficit to six points with just over six minutes to play to put UK within striking range.
