SEC Network Apologizes for Terry Wilson Video

The SEC Network has formally apologized to the University of Kentucky for publishing a video on Twitter that poked fun at Kentucky’s quarterback.

“The tweet was in poor taste and was removed swiftly,” an SEC Network spokeswoman told the Courier Journal’s Jon Hale. “We’ve reached out to Kentucky and are managing this internally.”

The now deleted video was a compilation of Wilson scrambling for his life before he’s sacked, accompanied by audio from a viral video. As you’ll see below, “Put it in reverse, Terry,” is objectively hilarious. The potentially humorous cut-up featuring Wilson is not funny at all, considering the quarterback’s 2019 season ended in less than two games after he suffered a season-ending injury while scrambling.
