The Kentucky men's basketball team (25-6, 14-4) received a double bye in the SEC Tournament, and will face Vanderbilt on Friday night. The Commodores beat Alabama 82-76 on Thursday to advance.
The winner of Friday's game advances to the SEC Tournament semifinal at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
With plenty of Top 25 losses last weekend, the Wildcats have a chance to earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament with a conference title and the help of Kansas.
