Utah Valley, led by 2-time former NBA Champion Mark Madsen, come into Rupp Arena with a 3-1 record. They defeated UAB, a future Kentucky opponent, 66-55 on Friday evening. Their other two victories have come against a Division II and a NAIA team. The Wolverines don’t have a single player in their rotation that has spent their entire career at the school. Led by former Oklahoma State guard Brandon Averette, this group is loaded with Division I and Junior College transfers. One interesting note is that UVU leads the COUNTRY in blocked shots so far this season 34 blocks through just 4 games.
