After having to postpone Tuesday evening’s game against South Carolina due to Coronavirus concerns amongst the Gamecocks, Kentucky will finally tip-off their SEC season tonight against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are currently 6-3 on the season and 1-0 in the SEC after Wednesday’s victory over previously undefeated Georgia.
Coach Ben Howland lost Nick Weatherspoon, Robert Woodard II, and Reggie Perry from last season’s 20-win team and was picked to finish 12th in the league. Kentucky is obviously sitting at 1-6 for their worst start to a basketball season since 1911. Can the ‘Cats get it turned around for the conference season?
