Saturday Quickies: Backs against the wall Edition

The Kentucky Wildcats had a chance to ride a three game winning streak into today’s meeting with the Georgia Bulldogs. Instead, we were all stunned at the massive egg they laid against the Missouri Tigers.

Defensively the Cats did what they needed to win the game. Despite being on the field for over half the game, the Cats held Missouri to 20 points. The problem was that, offensively, they couldn’t do a damn thing and mustered a measly 10 points.

There were so many factors that went into the abysmal performance: the musical chairs at the QB position, the negligence of not running Christopher Rodriguez, and the lack of catching ability of the wide receivers.
