It’s that wonderful time of year where college football and basketball intersect. Last night the Kentucky basketball team opened the season with an exhibition win over Kentucky Wesleyan. Today the Kentucky Wildcats football team is on the road to face a challenging Mississippi State squad in Starkville.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are unorthodox on both offense and defense. It’s a good thing that the bye week came before heading to Cowbell Central in order for the Cats to have extra time to prepare for whatever Mike Leach is going to throw at them.
Last season the Bulldogs weren’t able to put up a single offensive point against the Wildcats in Lexington but it seems as if the team has settled into the Air Raid system nicely.
