When you look at the box score, six points on 1-2 shooting, 4-4 from the free throw line, and four rebounds doesn’t sound like much of a performance for Kentucky forward Sacha Killeya-Jones. His on-court impact, however, was stellar.
In crunch time, Killeya-Jones grabbed a massive offensive rebound to retain possession, and sunk a pair of free throws to extend the lead when pressure was high. On defense, he stepped up and altered several shots in the paint, and stayed in the game when the game was on the line. His playing time was limited, but he was efficient, and played winning basketball.
