That first game at Rupp Arena this fall should be extra fun.
On Tuesday, UK Athletics announced that Rupp Arena is expecting full capacity for the upcoming 2021-22 season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fan capacity at Rupp Arena for the 2020-21 season was limited to just 15 percent, which also included staff, players, media, and essential personnel. Rupp Arena officially holds 20,545 people and should be filled to the brim in a few months.
