Former Kentucky staffer Rod Strickland has landed his first head coaching job at Long Island University.
Strickland was most recently working as program manager of G League Unite after time on the staffs at Memphis, Kentucky and South Florida.
Long Island fired former John Calipari assistant Derek Kellogg after five seasons.
