Kentucky‘s top point guard target in the class of 2024 is five-star standout Boogie Fland out of Archbishop Stepinac in Harlem, NY. The 6-foot-3 playmaker is ranked No. 1 at his position and No. 5 overall by On3, a consensus top-10 prospect.
Now, Pitino is throwing his hat into the ring, just one day removed from his introductory press conference at St. John’s.
Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ reports Pitino and assistant coach Steve Masiello — a former Kentucky walk-on and 1998 champion — will be in for Fland on Wednesday.
