Rhyne Howard thrives for Atlanta Dream in first WNBA game

Rhyne Howard shined in her first unofficial game as a WNBA player, helping lead the Atlanta Dream to a blowout victory in the team’s first preseason game of the year.

The franchise’s prized No. 1 overall draft pick finished with 15 points on 4-8 shooting, 3-5 from three and 4-5 from the line to go with five rebounds, two blocks, two steals and one assist in 17:32. She also finished with a team-high plus-30 in the +/-. The Dream won by a final score of 88-69.
