This is getting ridiculous at this point. Is there a watch list or All-American team that Rhyne Howard hasn’t made during the preseason?
If there is, the options are becoming more and more limited. In the same week that she made the preseason AP All-American First-Team AND was named Preseason SEC Player of the Year by the coaches, Howard earned another recognition on Wednesday. The 6-foot-3 senior guard has been tabbed to the Cheryl Miller Award Preseason Watch List, which is awarded annually to the nation’s best small forward.
Howard was named a top-five finalist to win the award in 2020 and 2021, and will have another shot to take home the honors in 2022.
