Former Kentucky women’s basketball star, Rhyne Howard, has taken the WNBA by storm ever since stepping onto the court during her rookie season. On Friday night she continued her individual excellence by scoring 24 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out two assists against the New York Liberty, though her team, the Atlanta Dream lost in a landslide, 110-80.
This was the third time in 14 days the two teams had played each other and served as the rubber match, having split the previous two matchups. In their last outing, an 86-79 victory on June 13, Howard finished with 12 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
