College basketball is in the air, and the Kentucky Wildcats will open the 2021-22 season with top-15 men’s and women’s hoops teams.
Under head coach Kyra Elzy and National Player of the Year contender Rhyne Howard, the 13th-ranked Wilcats (AP Poll) should have one of the SEC’s best teams yet again while contending for the program’s first Final Four appearance.
But don’t tell Elzy this team has any kind of ceiling.
“We want to shatter all ceilings,” Elzy stated at UK’s Meday Day while adding, “I’m excited about the possibilities of this team.”
