One of the most talented college basketball players to enter the transfer portal in years is well on his way to becoming a Kentucky Wildcat.
West Virginia forward Oscar Tshiebwe (pronounced SHOOB-way) entered the transfer portal last week. Jeff Goodman reports Tshiebwe is leaning towards committing to Kentucky. Goodman’s report comes a day after Tshiebwe met virtually with Kentucky’s coaching staff.
Many initially believed Miami was the most likely destination for the 2019-20 second team All-Big 12 selection. KSR’s Jack Pilgrim pumped the brakes on that narrative and shared that Tshiebwe wants to make a quick decision.
