Nearly two weeks after KSR’s Matt Jones reported Kentucky’s Chris Oats had been admitted into the hospital with a serious medical condition, the linebacker’s health seems to be improving. Oats has been moved out of the hospital and into a rehabilitation facility, according to a new report by Mike Dyer of WCPO in Cincinnati. A University of Kentucky spokesman told the station there is no additional information at this time.
A UK spokesman gave KSR the following statement on May 22, when Jones first reported Oats’ medical issue:
Chris Oats is in the hospital due to a medical issue.
