The Big Blue Nation held its collective breath when a Florida Gator crashed into the legs of TyTy Washington Saturday afternoon at Rupp Arena. It was not the first time an opponent rolled up on a Wildcat — it was not even the first instance for TyTy — but it was certainly the scariest-looking injury of the 2021-22 season.
After the game John Calipari provided some reassuring words about Washington, sharing that he is considered “day-to-day” after receiving x-rays in the locker room. Of course, the BBN has grown to be skeptical of Coach Cal’s injury updates.
