If you want to take your mind off the current Kentucky Basketball team, you can get a glimpse of the future later this afternoon. At 5 p.m., four-star guard Nolan Hickman’s Wasatch Academy plays prep powerhouse Montverde Academy in the finale of the St. James NIBC Invitational. It will be televised live on ESPNU.
The tournament has been going on since Jan. 8 and Hickman has turned in impressive games throughout, including a 21-point, 8-assist performance in Wasatch’s win over Bishop Walsh last week. This season, he’s averaging 16.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
