Mark Stoops has endured plenty of criticism in recent years. One thing the Kentucky head coach has done better than any of his predecessors is regularly beating Florida.
When Stoops arrived in Lexington, Kentucky had not defeated Florida in nearly 30 years. If the Wildcats are victorious tonight, it will be Kentucky’s fifth win in the series since 2018. That means a freshman at Kentucky saw more Wildcat wins than losses over the Gators since they started middle school. Remarkable.
