The BBN got the news many have been waiting on for quite a while as John Calipari and Kentucky officially offered Reed Sheppard Friday afternoon.
Sheppard burst onto the scene this season as he led the state in scoring with 30.1 points per game. As of right now, he is ranked as the No. 39 overall player in the class according to Rivals.
As you all know, Reed’s parents, Jeff Sheppard and Stacey Reed Sheppard, are UK greats. Ben Roberts of the Herald-Leader spoke with them following the offer from Kentucky.
