RECAP: Kentucky blows another opportunity in loss to Missouri

Kentucky had chances to win this basketball game and keep a shred of hope alive for the rest of the season. Per usual, the Cats were their own worst enemy.

In a tale as old as…November…Kentucky failed to win the final four minutes and let what would have been a huge victory over No. 18 Missouri slip through its fingers like a bad pass. Down 68-65 with 3:45 remaining, the Cats made two field goals — a Davion Mintz three and an Isaiah Jackson dunk — on five attempts, turned the ball over three times, fouled four times, and ended the game with one of the worst possessions I’ve ever seen.
