The Maxwell Football Club must’ve seen that meme, too. Because, today, the Maxwell Football Club recognized a mistake it made earlier this year, and took an immediate step to right that wrong.
The wrong? Not putting Kentucky running back Ray Davis on the 87th Maxwell Award Watch List.
Before the 2023 college football season began, the Maxwell Club, presenters of the Maxwell Award given to the most outstanding player in college football, named nearly 100 of the best college football players in the county, and Davis wasn’t among them.
