Ranger College knocked off Coffeyville 84-61 tonight to advance to the NJCAA Division I National Championship game.
Former Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie and Ranger will play the winner of Vincennes and South Plains for the title tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m. ET.
Ironically, Kentucky will be playing Wofford at about that same time.
Saturday at 2:40 ET, Kentucky will play Wofford in the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament. On the same afternoon, at roughly the same time, Ranger College will be playing in the JUCO National Championship Game. And Ranger College's coach is … former UK coach Billy Gillispie.
