Quarterback Jarren Williams has decided to stay at Miami (FL).
There were rumors that Williams, who was once committed to Kentucky, would transfer.
Here’s an excerpt from 247 Sports:
“Coach Mark Richt and Coach Jon Richt convinced Jarren to stay,” the his father Anthony Williams tells 247Sports. “They convinced him to stay by laying out a path he’ll have an opportunity to compete and play in the 2019 season.”
Williams did not attend practice on Thursday per the elder Williams.
“They were talking to him yesterday and today about staying and competing through the spring.
