Kentucky basketball has found its next strength and conditioning coach, hiring Braden Welsh from Purdue.
Welsh is set to replace Rob Harris, who served as the head S&C coach at Kentucky for six years and was with the program since the 2014-15 season. He was relieved of his duties this offseason. The school posted a new job opening for the position in April, which expired May 2.
Welsh spent one year at Purdue, joining the program back in January of 2021.
