Some tough news broke this afternoon for the Kentucky Wildcats football team.
Justin Rowland of Cats Illustrated is reporting that redshirt freshman linebacker J.J. Weaver has torn his ACL, which will end his season and keep him sidelined for much up the upcoming offseason.
Apparently UK linebacker JJ Weaver has a torn ACL that will require surgery. Really tough break close to the end of the year for someone who lost his dad earlier this season. Very difficult year for this team. Weaver has a great future.

Weaver has been one of the bright spots for the team this year which has played well defensively all season.
