With a little over two weeks until the Kentucky Wildcats open the 2019-20 season against Michigan State, we’re starting to see some preseason rankings trickle out. On Sunday morning, Ken Pomeroy released his initial KenPom rankings and the ‘Cats found themselves sitting comfortably as the No. 2 ranked team in the country.
Claiming the top spot is the team Kentucky will face on Nov. 5 in the Champions Classic, the Michigan State Spartans. Rounding out the rest of the top 5 are Louisville, Duke, and Virginia.
