Traditionally, late July is penciled in as the “talking season” for college football, whatever that even means. To me, it signifies the SEC Media is ready to come out of the woodwork and hand out a syllabus of sure-to-be-terrible predictions. That already happened, and I complained about it, A LOT. (Check that out to see where the Cats were slotted by the SEC talking heads for this upcoming season). As far as I’m concerned, this is recruiting season for Kentucky Basketball. I see the views this website gets on basketball recruiting pieces compared to football. The gap is remarkable.
