Throughout most of the pre-season, the talk of the town revolved around Kentucky’s starting lineup. How would Coach Calipari decide which of his superstars should start? He continuously mentioned having nine or ten players of all fairly-equal status, so how could he possibly distinguish which ones deserved a start in the opening game of the season? Would it be tall ball? Small ball? Experienced players? Hagans or Quickley? Travis, Washington, Richards or Montgomery? Or just a little bit of everything?
Well, we finally got our answer: Reid Travis, PJ Washington, Nick Richards, Quade Green and Immanuel Quickley started for the Cats last night.
