As Edwards himself said this morning, the decision to go to Georgia was made two weeks ago, and it’s a big reason why all of the major recruiting outlets went all-in on their predictions in favor of the Bulldogs. It really wasn’t a secret, especially following his official visit to Athens the weekend after his trip to Lexington.
To get this out of the way, some are jumping to the conclusion that money or extra benefits changed hands or something of the sort.
