Before this past year’s NCAA Tournament began, a number of Kentucky fans got a bit ahead of themselves, getting “40-0″ tattoos, predicting that the Wildcats would run the table and become the first 40-0 squad in men’s college basketball history. As we all know, that didn’t happen, as UK fell to Wisconsin in the Final Four.
One fan – named Cory Eaves – waited until after the season ended to get his commemorative tattoo. Cleverly, he decided to go with “40 And Oh Well” instead, with head coach John Calipari’s face above the phrase.
