Phil Hoskins to Panthers in NFL Draft

After a six-year college football career, Kentucky Wildcats defensive tackle Phil Hoskins is now an NFL Draft pick, as he was taken 232nd overall by the Carolina Panthers. He becomes the sixth Wildcat selected this year.

Hoskins started his college career at Highland Community College in Kansas and transferred to UK in 2017. He played in just one game for the Cats that season, but in 2018, played all 13 games with 21 total tackles and three sacks, including one in the Wildcats streak-snapping win over the Florida Gators.

In 2019, Hoskins started the season suspended for the first two games and then missed the rest of the season due to injury.
