During a media opportunity with reporters this afternoon, the Memphis coach was asked about the confrontation between the Vols’ Jordan Bone and the Tigers’ Alex Lomax towards the end of the game. On Saturday, Penny claimed Tennessee’s players came over “with their fists balled up ready to fight,” which Barnes laughed at during his coach’s show last night. Obviously, Penny didn’t like that, and doubled down on his comments today.
