In case you missed it earlier, former Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles tweeted some cryptic emojis about Shannon Dawson’s exit:
After much, much speculation, Towles confirmed to Kyle Tucker that he meant Dawson was the sacrificial lamb to the team’s problems, an interesting twist to the saga:

Earlier today, Towles also tweeted that he believes Dawson is “one of the greatest offensive minds I’ve ever been around,” and “would love to sit in the same meeting room with him again.
