Kentucky fans hoping for a come-from-behind upset victory in the recruitment of 2021 five-star forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. are likely going to be disappointed.
After over a year of rumors of Duke and Wisconsin-Milwaukee holding an overwhelming lead in the consensus top-five prospect’s recruitment, Baldwin is now close to making a final decision, telling Sports Illustrated’s Jason Jordan that he’s “75 percent sure” where he’s going.
“I think I know where I would like to go,” Baldwin told Sports Illustrated. “So, I’m just kinda just sitting on it right now.”
As for a timeline on a decision, Baldwin said it’s coming in the very near future.
