Last week, the 2022-23 Kentucky Basketball team began reporting to campus for summer and preseason activities. Most of the team arrived in time for the Friday cookout at John Calipari’s house, but there was one noticeable absence in a photo taken at the pool party.

While his teammates moved into the Wildcat Coal Lodge last week, Tshiebwe was still back home visiting family and eating bugs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Today, he landed back at Blue Grass Airport to rejoin his team on campus to begin preparations for the upcoming college basketball season; hopefully, a repeat as National Player of the Year.
