Orlando Antigua and Chin Coleman made the decision to come to Kentucky for different reasons, but how did Antigua, who served on John Calipari’s staff from 2009 to 2014, describe Lexington to Coleman?
“I told him, this is Camelot,” Antigua said, borrowing a phrase from the Rick Pitino era. “This is Camelot. It’s the winningest program in college history, so those things are easy to sell.”
Coleman has only been in Lexington a day and a half, but told reporters he’s already noticing how Kentucky Basketball is on a different level.
“He told me that this place is on steroids,” Chin said of Antigua’s pitch.
