That is the group of coaches that John Calipari had to deal with when he became the University of Kentucky’s basketball coach in 2009. Of that group of coaches, Grant, Pelphrey, Lebo, Fox, Horn, and Pearl would all be fired from their positions. Kennedy was forced out at Ole Miss. Johnson resigned from LSU after the Ben Simmons disaster. Cal wasn’t exactly taking on a murderer’s row of coaches in 2010.
