Olivier Sarr named First Team All-American by Dick Vitale

No national media member followed Olivier Sarr’s eligibility more closely than Dick Vitale, so it’s no surprise that the ESPN analyst has the Kentucky big man on his list of preseason All-Americans. First Team, in fact. Sarr is the only Wildcat to make one of Dickie V’s five teams, which only makes sense when you read that Vitale refuses to include freshmen, or, rather, “diaper dandies.”

Sarr is joined on the First Team by Luka Garza (Iowa), Ayo Dosunmu (Illinois), Jared Butler (Baylor), and Remy Martin (Arizona State). Other familiar names include Florida’s Keyontae Johnson, who is on the Third Team; West Virginia’s Oscar Tshiebwe and LSU’s Trendon Watford, who are on the Fourth Team; and John Fulkerson, who represents the Tennessee Volunteers with his skinny headband on the Fifth Team.
