New Kentucky head coach Will Stein surprised many when he announced that he would not be the primary offensive play caller for the Wildcats in 2025. Instead, Stein would be handing those duties off to his first offensive coordinator. We quickly learned that individual would be former Louisiana Tech and LSU offensive coordinator Joe Sloan.
What can we expect a Stein/Sloan offense to look like? The latter addressed that on Wednesday morning in his first Kentucky press conference at Kroger Field. This process will very likely be collaborative but we shouldn’t expect a carbon copy of what we saw either at Autzen Stadium or Tiger Stadium this season.
