Former Kentucky defensive tackle Octavious Oxendine has signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Oxendine joins former UK defensive lineman Micah Johnson (2006-09) on the Roughriders team.
Former Wildcats Josh Ali (Calgary Stampeders), Lynn Bowden (BC Lions) and Quandre Mosely (Winnipeg Bluebombers) are also looking to make rosters in the CFL.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky defensive tackle Octavious Oxendine has signed with the Canadian Football League’s Saskatchewan Roughriders, the team announced last week. He joins former UK defensive lineman Micah Johnson (2006-09) on the Saskatchewan team, while three other Wildcats – Josh Ali (Calgary Stampeders), Lynn Bowden (BC Lions), Quandre Mosely (Winnipeg Bluebombers) – will also suit up when preseason play begins Monday, May 19.
