Kentucky’s men’s and women’s swim teams traveled to Columbus, OH this past weekend to compete in the Ohio State Invitational.
The women’s team (ranked number 17 in the country) beat out NC State (No. 12), Notre Dame (No. 18), Ohio State (No. 23), and eight other teams to win their first ever OSU Invite. The men finished fourth out of nine teams.
On the first day of the competition, sophomore Asia Seidt qualified for the NCAA championship meet (and lowered her own school record) in the 200-yard individual medley with time of 1:53.84. Her previous record was 1:55.
