Shortly after news broke of Nolan Hickman’s decision to decommit from the University of Kentucky, the top player from the class of 2022 also decided to opt-out of his future college home–although this one was hardly a surprise. Emoni Bates, rated No. 1 in his entire class by all three of 247 Sports, Rivals, and ESPN, has decommitted from head coach Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans, Bates tells Tipton Edits.
