James Wiseman, the No. 1-ranked basketball recruit in the class of 2019, will announce his college decision Tuesday at noon on ESPN.
Wiseman — a 7-footer from Nashville, now living in Memphis — has long been the top target on John Calipari’s 2019 recruiting board, and he was the first player from that group to land a UK scholarship offer. 247Sports and ESPN both rank him as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2019 class.
His finalists are Kentucky, Memphis, Florida State, Kansas and Vanderbilt, and recruiting analysts have been predicting for months that his final decision would come down to UK and Memphis.
