NCAA Case Against Kansas Includes Responsibility Charge Against Bill Self, Lack of Institutional Control Against School

Kansas revealed the NCAA’s case against them publicly on Thursday and the allegations are serious.

Among the allegations are a responsibility charge against head coach Bill Self and a lack of institutional control charge against the school.

The NCAA’s response to Kansas calls the violations “egregious” and “severe”:

“While the football allegations involve alleged Level II and III violations, which are serious alleged violations, there can be no doubt the men’s basketball allegations are egregious, severe and are the kind that significantly undermine and threaten the NCAA Collegiate Model,” the NCAA enforcement staff wrote in its reply.
